The ICV Live Webinar presents the basics of sustainable corporate management and the wealth of implications for the company as a result of the sustainability orientation of the business strategy. This also includes the finance function as well as strategic and operational corporate management. ICV Live Webinar: Economic benefits of sustainable corporate management (in German)

CFOs evaluate investment decisions according to whether they add value to the company in the long term. Sustainable corporate management must also be able to apply this standard, even though the pressure from customers, investors, banks and disclosure regulations (CSRD, taxonomy) is increasing.

In the webinar, you will learn what the results of studies are (portfolio level) and what channels Corporate Sustainability Performance (CSP) uses to influence Corporate Financial Performance (CFP).

ICV Live Webinar: Sustainability in projects (in German)

"Sustainability in projects" is the title of an ICV Live Webinar from March 2022 under the aegis of the ICV Expert Work Group Project Controlling. Siegfried Gänßlen, member of the Expert Work Group and former ICV Chairman, reports on his experiences on the topic of sustainability at the corporate member Hansgrohe, where he was CFO and CEO. At the manufacturer of fittings and showers in the German Black Forest, the focus on sustainability began with the appointment of an environmental officer in 1989. In the webinar, Gänßlen primarily answers the questions of the participants.

Sustainability in the focus of the expert work group and the ICV (topic of the year)

Sustainable corporate management and thus a focus on social and ecological goals are becoming increasingly important due to the European Green Deal, sustainable finance, EU taxonomy and CSR guidelines. In the ICV, the ICV Expert Work Group Green Controlling for Responsible Business has dealt with sustainability and how it influences the practice of corporate management and the work in controlling for many years. Head of the WG Dr. Marco Möhrer reports on this in an interview (in German) with Peter Bluhm from atvisio.TV.

Award-winning sustainability controlling in the ControllingCast

Claudia Maron, ICV Sustainability Ambassador, is a guest in the BI or DIE Controllingcast. With the moderators Jens Ropers and Kai-Uwe Stahl, she talks, among other things, about the success factors that have contributed to her employer DATEV becoming a leading player in sustainability.

CA iTalk with Claudia Maron on sustainability in controlling

In February 2022, moderator Jens Ropers - Partner, CA controller akademie - invited to an exciting iTalk of the CA controller akademie (language: German): How can controllers help to create potential in sustainability? Lukas Bosch, who in his role as a management consultant is also a “business activist” for sustainability, and Claudia Maron, who heads the Digital and Sustainable Economy department at DATEV, had their say. She is also a Board Member of the ICV. In the discussion with Jens Ropers, both iTalk guests gave interesting insights into their work and thus showed how the abstract keyword "sustainability" can be integrated into practice. You can read the report in the ICV Controlling Blog here.

Sustainable learning in CA iTalk

It is also important to act sustainably when learning. Redundancies have to be filtered out and relevant knowledge for the company has to be identified. In dynamic times like these, requirements and context change quickly. Knowledge has to be networked and updated again and again. In the CA iTalk with Dorothee Deyhle and ICV Chairman Prof. Dr. Heimo Losbichler moderator Jens Ropers gets to the bottom of sustainable learning (language: German).
