With tact, intuition and assertiveness: Carmen Zillmer, Managing Director of the ICV since 2016

Carmen Zillmer (Dipl.-Ing. FH) has been Managing Director of the International Association of Controllers (ICV) since January 1, 2016. She has been working at the ICV Office since 2008 and has been the Manager since 2013. She follows Conrad Günther, who, after 26 years as the ICV Managing Director, chose another orientation for his professional career.

Carmen Zillmer has succeeded RA Conrad Günther (55) as the ICV Managing Director. He ran ICV business for more than 26 years and chose another orientation for his professional career at his own request. At the request of the ICV Executive Board, Günther remains responsible for selected tasks in the developing our international organization, which he has undertaken voluntarily.

"As a long-term employee and manager of our office, she has very good knowledge of the people and processes in the Association. She has established herself very well with her professional as well as sensitive work." Carmen Zillmer has also been the managing Board Member of the ICV since January 1, 2016.


After graduating her engineering studies at the Albstadt-Sigmaringen University of Applied Sciences in the field of product management with a focus on economics, marketing, foreign trade and planning / management Carmen Zillmer worked at the Escada AG in Munich in the international purchasing department. Eight years later, she joined as an assistant the management of Seicom GmbH in Munich, an international IT distributor. After eight years she began her work at the International Association of Controllers (ICV). Her tasks included: annual organization of the Munich Controller Congress, the largest European controlling event of the ICV.
