Novelty – CMA Tutorials as hybrid event
Hybrid – the best of two worlds – converted to a seminar format. Due to the corona, some companies still have travel restrictions for employees. This also applies to necessary further training measures. The alternative are online trainings. CA Trainer Dietmar Pascher has taken a new path with the CMA Tutorial in September. The experiences from this hybrid seminar format were very positive on all sides, which was also documented in the feedback rounds. Currently two more hybrid seminars are planned.

“The Time to Wow is Now”
The international Controllers’ meeting Croatia takes place online this year (language: English): Nov. 12-13. The theme, "Controlling: The Time to Wow is Now", was inspired by the economic crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, which has acted as a trigger for shifting the focus on controlling. Many international guests among them ICV experts (picture: Edyta Sarska, Poland, leader ICV International Work Group), show how pandemic has changed controlling and controllers’ tasks in their countries.

Geopolitical tensions are new significant risk areas

Crisis Mastering - planning & management in Corona times
Corona has left deep marks on the balance sheets of companies and national economies. The initial hope of a quick restart has unfortunately given way to the realization that corona will be with us intensively at least for the next year. Managers and controllers are wondering how the global economy will develop and with what measures they can successfully master the crisis and prepare for the time after it – says Heimo Losbichler (picture), ICV Chairman, inviting to the online 19th CIS Controlling Insights Steyr on Nov. 27 (German), "Mastering the crisis - planning and management in times of corona".
