Deutsche Bank Research has just published two Frontier Country Reports: Serbia an Croatia. DB Research expects the Serbian economy to strengthen gradually in 2015, after the recession of 2014 (real GDP declined by 1.8% yoy), but growth is likely to remain slightly negative at around -0.3% yoy, mainly due to the impact of fiscal austerity measures on domestic demand. ICV-MEMBER AS AUTHOR – YOUR RAFFLE CHANCE

Win the book “Controlling - A critical success factor in a globalized world”!
The English book “Controlling - A critical success factor in a globalized world” was written by ICV member Prof. Dr. Olaf B. Mäder, Professor of Controlling at Reutlingen University and Visiting Professor of Accounting and Controlling at the University of Friedrichshafen. The book shows how the “Objectification orientated Controlling” approach can ensure the successful management of a company in a challenging and competitive environment. The approach outlined in this book is based on the philosophy of a service provider who supports managers and decision-makers. This idea is well-reflected in the term “business partner”. The author combines scientific and practical evidence to deduce the approach. The book (available as e-book and print-on-demand online) is aimed at students and practitioners who want t o learn more about improving business using a state-of-the-art support function, Controlling.

Today we can raffle 3 printed copies of this book. To take part in our raffle, please send us an e-mail with only one sentence, why do you read the “International Controller’s e-News”?, and – for the case you are one of our three winners – your postal address. – Good luck!
