3 questions to Frank Alexandris-Springhorn (Speech: Digitization in the field of tension between agility and continuity)

1. How agile does controlling have to be today and why?

Alexandris-Springhorn: Today's controlling has to be very agile. It must anticipate rapid changes in the corporate field and offer business solutions promptly. The existing business area must be checked and new business areas tested. This requires not only a start-up mentality, but also a controlling know-how that leads to success.

 

2. Where does controlling apply to maintain continuity and why?

Alexandris-Springhorn: In terms of continuity, our W-E-G guides us. Our company should grow steadily, develop and make a profit. This is indispensable for the competitiveness of the company.

 

3. Is the modern controller like the family doctor of a company: with the left hand on the pulse of time, with the right hand on the pulse of the company and on the laps the doctor's case with a mixture of proven and new drugs?

Alexandris-Springhorn: The modern controller is like the family doctor of the company. They keep the company healthy through their high diagnostic capability and the right mix of proven and new medicines.
