CA Akademie AG is a private further education institute founded by Dr. Dr. h.c. Albrecht Deyhle in 1971. While the CA focused on the training and development of controllers in its early days, it has become a full service training provider in the field of corporate management, governance and accounting.
Our service portfolio is grouped in line with the three pillars of the CA Akademie AG: CA Controller Akademie, CA Management Akademie and CA Institute for Accounting & Finance.

The CA Controller Akademie offers a comprehensive program of subjects related to controlling for existing controllers and people with an interest in the field.

Meanwhile, the CA Management Akademie addresses decision-makers and managers with the different aspects of corporate management relevant to their field of activity.

The CA Institute for Accounting & Finance bundles all professional development subjects in relation to international and national accounting relevant for accounting and finance professionals, and increasingly also for controllers and managers. The iaf Institute for Accounting & Finance SE 2013 was established by the CA Akademie AG together with renowned training and development experts in the field of international and national accounting and company valuation.

Corporate Planning AG

CP Corporate Planning AG, Hamburg, stands for 25 years of proven and innovative solutions for software standards for corporate management in SMEs. Following the claim "Controlling can be so easy!" Corporate Planning develops simple and flexible controlling solutions with integrated business management expertise.

Corporate Planning was established in 1989 with the vision of providing controllers software and know-how so that they can do their tasks easily, safely and with pleasure. Today, Corporate Planning is one of Europe's leading providers of corporate performance management software, and provides the Corporate Planning Suite versatile planning, reporting and analysis in an integrated technology platform with a uniform "look and feel".

130 people at twelve national and international locations provide consulting, training, customer support and consistent development of the software.

IGC International Group of Controlling

The key objectives of the IGC are:

  • building up the image of the occupational and role profile of the controller.
  • acting as a forum for expert opinions and ideas.
  • providing a platform for the alignment and development of a consistently supported controlling concept and uniform controlling terminology.
  • maintaining interfaces with science and related fields of study.
  • increasing market transparency and quality assurance in relation to training programmes in the field of controlling.
  • defining quality standards for the members of the community of interest, coupled with the award of a “seal of quality”.
  • developing foundations for the certification of controllers at a later stage.

Manufaktur für Führungskultur im Mittelstand e.V.

The Association has set itself the task of promoting an attractive management culture in medium-sized companies. Common values and goals should also enable employees to use their personal potentials and develop them further. The Association wants to contribute to the growth of the personality of all.

Manufaktur für Führung im Mittelstand e.V. is a network that allows its members to share their trustworthy experiences, and also use professional diagnostic tools to give them impetus for their leadership skills. These practice-oriented tools and the exchange offer support for the targeted professional management in medium-sized enterprises.

In addition, the Association promotes training and transfer of know-how from science and research to the above-mentioned areas of focus.

Verlag für ControllerWissen AG (VCW)

Back in 1969, the ICV founder and honorary chairman Dr. Dr. h.c. Albrecht Deyhle founded the Management Service Verlag (MSV) as a professional business publishing house, which was reorganized into VCW AG in 1999 and has been part of the Haufe Mediengruppe in Freiburg since 2009.

In 1971, the first edition of the basic work "Controller Praxis" was published. In 2016, the in the meanwhile 18th edition under the authorship of Dr. Albrecht Deyhle, the ICV Board Member Klaus Eiselmayer and the Head of the ICV Wiki, Guido Kleinhietpaß was released. The "Controller Praxis" is the basis for many other publications on controlling, e.g. also for the controller dictionary.

In 1975, the Controller Magazin was launched, which today is by far the largest circulation German-language controlling magazine. From the very beginning, the Controller Magazin was at the same time a member magazine of the ICV and reports on the life of the Association. The close cooperation with the ICV is also reflected in the fact that the editorial board of the Controller Magazine has been run by longtime ICV Managing Director Conrad Günther since 2016.
